Lion Engraved on Brown Matboard

with Native American poem.

Mat size is 11” x 14”

This was etched onto the matboard from a photograph. There are shades of gray because the laser burns deeper into darker areas of the photo creating a very unique effect.

The poem reads:

And while I stood there

I saw more than I can tell,

and understood more than I saw,

for I was seeing in a sacred manner

the shapes of things in the spirit,

and the shapes of all shapes,

as they must live together, like one being.
